About the Davis Estate Community Centre

The Davis Estate Community Centre is a well-appointed hall with good related facilities, situated at the heart of the Davis Estate, in Barberry Avenue.

The community centre has its own kitchen facilities, and a large car park with spaces for 30 cars, and is one of the finest halls in the area. Fire regulations restrict the number of people on the premises as follows:

Side view of DERAC Community Centre The centre has a spacious dance floor with an ample supply of tables and chairs. There is a well equipped kitchen, that in turn leads to an adjoining room, with a serving hatch to the main hall.

The Centre is adequately heated by a modern central heating system, ventilation is provided by Extractor and Ceiling fans, with other cooler fans spaced around the hall.

Hire charges (w.e.f. January 2010

Regular Hirers— Monday to Friday9 am–11 pm —£ 12·00 per hr
Regular Hirers— Saturday12 noon–11 pm —£ 15·00 per hr
Regular Hirers— Sunday9 am–6 pm —£ 15·00 per hr
Casual Hirers— Monday to Friday9 am–10.30 pm —Negotiable

Casual Hirers— Saturday12 noon–11 pm —Negotiable
Casual Hirers— Sunday9 am–6 pm —Negotiable
Charges for long term hirers, and for commercial functions being used for financial gain, will be the subject of Special Negotiation by the management committee.
We also do children's parties at a charge of £ 45 for 3 hours.
Discount : A discount of 10% is available to hirers who have been members of D.E.C.C. for a minimum of 1 year on production of their membership card. Discounts do not apply to specially negotiated rates.
