Medway Council:
Regeneration & Community Overview & Scrutiny Committee

This former Scrutiny Committee oversaw and scrutinized the Cabinet's work on regeneration (the former Economic Development Committee's business) and Community (such as community safety) matters, and called-in to full Council anything it believed had not been handled correctly within the extant policy framework. It met typically once a month, on either a Wednesday or Thursday in the first week or so of the month, usually (but not always) in the Civic Suite at the Civic Centre, Strood.

The full portfolio for this Committee was as follows:

All these Overview and Scrutiny Committees are chaired by members of one of the opposition groups; and this one is chaired by a Liberal Democrat member with a Liberal Democrat Vice-Chairman.
