Medway Council:
The former Support Services Overview & Scrutiny Committee
This now-defunct Scrutiny Committee oversaw and scrutinized the Cabinet's work on its own support services, such as finance and Information Technology (IT) matters, and called-in to full Council anything it believed had not been handled correctly within the extant policy framework. It met typically every four weeks.
This committee has now been superseded by the Finance and |Performance Management Overview and Scrutiny Committee, which came into being on 4th June 2003.
The full portfolio for this Committee was as follows:
