This page contained a schedule of forthcoming meetings while I was on the Council and received a weekly list. This is no longer possible, and the only information I now have is that which appears on the council's own website. The schedule of meetings can be found HERE, and agendas, minutes (records) and reports are published HERE.

Although all Full Council, Cabinet and scrutiny committee meetings are open to the press and public, so that anyone is welcome to come along and witness the proceedings, there is an exception to this (as has always been the case) for items of business that require us to exclude the public and the media because of confidentiality in accordance with Section 100A(4) of the Local Government Act of 1972.

Such exempt items will be dealt with in closed session, usually at the end of the meeting. There are also a couple of panels that deal exclusively with personal and commercial matters, so they too exclude the press and public.

In the table below, Civic Centre refers to the Council offices in Strood, and Municipal Buildings means the office in Canterbury Street, Gillingham.
